Ecosmart Training

The EcoSmart training programme for ECANZ members is focused on providing electricians with practical skills to promote and install high efficiency products and services. This provides the trained electrician with the ability and confidence to specify the most appropriate and efficient technology solution to clients as well as the use of the Eco-Smart logo for clear competitive advantage in the marketplace.

The training course upskills EcoSmart electricians to conduct assessments to determine the impact and value of improvements that can be made. The assessment can offer alternatives in areas such as energy management, lighting, pumps, fans and motors, HVAC as well as new technology in solar and wind power.  The outcome of this assessment often forms the basis of work associated with the recommended upgrades to electrical components or systems.
