Application
Narrow beam Conical beam with an angle of 24 degrees or less. Strong downward light causing a hot spot below the fitting. This creates strong contrasts with low lighting levels on walls and ceiling. Okay for accenting items directly below the downlight, or, narrow spaces like stairwells. Avoid using in open areas.
Medium beam Conical beam with an angle between 24-60 degrees. Downward light causing pools of light below the fitting. This creates lower lighting levels on walls and ceiling. Okay for creating horizontal illumination in small or medium spaces like corridors or hallways. Use reasonably closely spaced, then dim for the desired effect.
Wide beam Conical beam with an angle of 60 degrees or more. Downward light causing pools of light below the fitting. This creates lower lighting levels on walls and ceiling. Okay for creating horizontal illumination in small or medium spaces like corridors or hallways. Use reasonably closely spaced, then dim for the desired effect.
