Adjustable downlighting options

Used to create horizontal illumination, accent lighting and wall washing.

Type of light Distribution Effect Application
 Narrow beam Conical beam with an angle of 24 degrees or less. Small focused area of illumination creating strong contrasts with the lit object, as well as its surroundings. For accenting items within a 2 metre radius of the adjustable downlight. Ideal for highlighting small, important objects or lighting columns.
 Medium beam Conical beam with an angle between 24-60 degrees. Focused area of illumination creating accent on the lit object. For accenting larger objects or surfaces (such as wall washing) and lighting kitchen surfaces.
 Wide beam Conical beam with an angle of 60 degrees or more. Large general illumination effects that can be adjusted from a fixed location. For adjustable horizontal illumination where the lighting effect must be to the side of the downlight. Also great for wall washing, but don’t locate the fitting more than a metre from the lit object or surface.
